As I wrap up this book, I am so grateful for this season and the time to set other things aside and solely focus on the cross. If you have ever struggled with questions related to salvation, His death, or resurrection, this is the perfect book to read. This is a great book to gift as well!

My pink started draining.
I went from loving to hating the femininity God gave me.

Pink became ugly…until I saw two pink lines and pink balloons come out of a box. Then my perspective changed. My pink became a God-given power.

The body that I learned to hate became the body that God created to create a baby girl.

The reality that our bodies are a temple and for the time our children depend on us, it's theirs as well. We are a message whether we like it or not. What message are you preaching?

I know that I cannot stop my little girl from losing some pink, but I pray I learn to do better to live out the femininity that God has given me as a message to her that the world does not define her or me. I pray that in every opportunity to counteract the noise, I bring in biblical truth. I pray I stop being lazy all the time and actually put in the effort. I pray I watch my words and work on being intentional with showing my girl what biblical beauty is.

I'm SO ready for Lent! I'm so ready to reset and focus solely on the cross. I'm ready to strip away some noise and do it with my family. Lent is a season of awareness and attention.

If you saw my post on Facebook, I am having to switch up my daily regimen because I don't want to spend over $500 on Mary Ruth 🥺. I am going to switch as I run out. I downloaded and paid for the SuppCo app because I was tired of guessing. (I can see if there is a link. I was taking a prescribed vitamin and a well-known vitamin from Amazon for MONTHS. I was still not feeling better, so I scanned them into the system and found out the Amazon one failed several tests, and the other one was stacked with fillers. No wonder I was not feeling better. 😮‍💨 I was able to set what I wanted to focus on ( cortisol, hair/skin/nails, focus, essential woman in 30s, heart health, and hormones). Our world. He loves/loved it in its entirety from beginning to end, knowing all things. 😮‍💨

Only God can love us, a people so stuck on doing evil and being so ugly and selfish.

I may never understand, but I im so grateful for a God who loves me and the rest of the evil world, because without Him our hope is lost to the news we see on TV. Im so grateful this is not my home.

I pray God gives us the strength to share this message in the evil world we live in. I pray we would not be idle as we watch suffering. I pray we wouldn't close our eyes or our hearts, but rather become more passionate and active in spreading His Word. 🩷

ANYTHING DONE OUTSIDE OF GOD IS SIN…
So that food we donated, hoping people would see, or did flippantly without any eternal attention (prayer)- SIN
That TV show we watch that has no earthly value and is trash- SIN
That sport our kids play on Sunday or Wednesday, as we skimp out on church-SIN
The fillers in our face, sugar we ingest, alcohol we intake, if done in a manner that goes against any of the ones listed above- SIN

I don't know about y'all, but Lent is going to be a big adjustment for me this year. Having to face the reality that I have so much that needs to change is so heavy, but it reminds me of how heavy the cross my Savior had to carry. Just my sin alone is enough to make anyone hide, but HE DIED FOR ME. He washed me clean and I, even I, am as white as snow. Wow…Why then, if He did all of that for me, do I continue to ignore the weights of sin that still keep me so stuck?

I pray that more people will join us this season. It is not too late. Here are all my favorite resources for this season.
