ANYTHING DONE OUTSIDE OF GOD IS SIN… So that food we donated, hoping people would see, or did flippantly without any eternal attention (prayer)- SIN That TV show we watch that has no earthly value and is trash- SIN That sport our kids play on Sunday or Wednesday, as we skimp out on church-SIN The fillers in our face, sugar we ingest, alcohol we intake, if done in a manner that goes against any of the ones listed above- SIN I don't know about y'all, but Lent is going to be a big adjustment for me this year. Having to face the reality that I have so much that needs to change is so heavy, but it reminds me of how heavy the cross my Savior had to carry. Just my sin alone is enough to make anyone hide, but HE DIED FOR ME. He washed me clean and I, even I, am as white as snow. Wow…Why then, if He did all of that for me, do I continue to ignore the weights of sin that still keep me so stuck? I pray that more people will join us this season. It is not too late.
