The only thing that I don’t like about hoyafinlaysonii is the fact that the blooms don’t last very long. This bloom was probably open for anywhere between 24 and 36 hours. So I had to film this as soon as the first umbel opened or I could likely miss it all. And sure enough, as soon as this bloom started the fade, the others opened. The whole blooming process with this particular hoya is way too fast for me! The good news is that once it starts blooming it’s a hoya that continues to push more blooms. This is one of my overall favorite hoyas!
