My hoyanummularioides has popped a few flowers recently. Not as many as it usually blooms, but something is better than nothing. These blooms smell lovely up close, but they make a room smell stinky from far away. In my opinion. This particular hoya is a seasonal bloomer. To encourage blooming, it thrives with cool nighttime temperatures, which help trigger its tiny peduncles to mature and extend, eventually producing flowers. What I find fascinating about this Hoya is that nearly every node develops a peduncle, and its leaves have a wonderfully soft, velvety texture that adds to its charm.
