#hoyamadara aka #hoyamadarasnowangel is tough to capture on camera since the camera struggles a bit with where to focus. I love this little bizarre twist that this unique #hoya brings to the mix! Another twist, my particular plant is growing in a very compact pattern. I keep waiting for the nodes to lengthen a bit so I can take a back up cutting! 🤞

My #hoyanummularioides has popped a few flowers recently. Not as many as it usually blooms, but something is better than nothing. These blooms smell lovely up close, but they make a room smell stinky from far away. In my opinion.

This particular #hoya is a seasonal bloomer. To encourage blooming, it thrives with cool nighttime temperatures, which help trigger its tiny peduncles to mature and extend, eventually producing flowers. What I find fascinating about this Hoya is that nearly every node develops a peduncle, and its leaves have a wonderfully soft, velvety texture that adds to its charm.

About to cut this bad boi up!#hoyaspparaemeraldfrost! This is the most expensive plant that I’ve ever bought. And I’m having 0 regrets. I love how beautiful this one is! #HoyaDeykeae has a reputation for being a bit challenging, but I haven’t found it too difficult. It’s definitely a slow grower and has an annoying habit of letting new vines or baby leaves die off, but overall, it hasn’t been much of a problem for me. This #hoyapachycladavariegata is a bit of a slow grower, but I’m ok with that. I love the look of it just as it is. Since it is a slow grower it constantly stays in this beautiful controlled shape! This one is certainly on top 10 favorites list.

My #hoyapachycladaalbomarginata aka #hoyasubquintuplinervisalbomarginata is an absolute favorite! This one is certainly on top 10 favorites list. It’s a slow grower so it constantly stays in this beautiful controlled shape and it blooms so often!

#hoyapatricia is a cross between Hoya Elliptica and Hoya darwinii. I’ve grown H Elliptica but not H darwinii. I feel #hoyacvpatricia is easier to grow than H Elliptica. At least in my experience and in my environment.

#hoyajennifer was made for all you Jennifer’s out there!!! Can we just take a moment for this full, fabulous umbel? She’s showing off!

Have you noticed that I film the majority of my plants with water 💦 on them? It’s because I coordinate their shower with my post. I’ve got around 160 hoyas in my collection. I rotate through my collection pretty much in order, so they get their leaves cleaned once every 3-4 months. 😁 When I wash their leaves, I also make sure to let the water runs through the medium and let it flow out the bottom of the pot. I do this to flush out extra salt build up from my fertilizer. It’s important to fertilize, but it’s also important to flush the in salts out too!

#hoyamacrophyllaalbomarginata aka #hoyalatifoliaalbomarginata is a plant that seems to creep in the winter and leap with growth in the summer. It pretty much needs hot temps to be happy. #hoyabilobata formerly known as #hoyapanchoi has the tiniest little flowers! I’m surprised at how tiny the blooms are. Once it started blooming it produces blooms frequently. Let me know if you spot others that that I’ve missed.

I’m not really sure how Hoya bilobata gets confused with Hoya sp aff Burtoniae because H Bilobata doesn’t have the same pubescence and this one sunstresses to these beautiful colors pretty easily. Flowers look a bit similar, but their corona is different and the overall umbel is so much smaller. These 2 plants are very different in my experience.
