The drape is beautiful—it skims over the body without clinging, even around the tummy, which instantly makes them more comfortable and confidence-boosting. The gray wash is a perfect neutral color, and it can easily be dressed up or down. They are modern, yet classic enough to wear for years and years to come. The fabric is ultra soft and comfortable, and they’re a good stepping stone into the wide leg fit. One of the hottest denim trends right now is barrel leg jeans. Now, before you pass on this trend or say “it’s not for me,” hear me out… Full disclosure: I was totally against the barrel-leg denim trend until several of you raved about how flattering they are and insisted I try this exact pair. Next week, I am having a double bunionectomy, which means I’ll have my bunions corrected on both feet at the same time. (Super glamorous, right? 😜) Usually you can only have them corrected one foot at a time, so finding a doctor that could fix both at once was a game-changer for me. I will keep you posted on how it goes!

Post-surgery, I need to wear a special orthopedic sandal on each foot…meaning I can’t wear regular pants or shoes for weeks. My new style uniform for the upcoming season??
