One of the hottest denim trends right now is barrel leg jeans. Now, before you pass on this trend or say “it’s not for me,” hear me out… Full disclosure: I was totally against the barrel-leg denim trend until several of you raved about how flattering they are and insisted I try this exact pair. So, I gave them a shot… and immediately understood what you wise ladies were talking about! The fit is actually incredibly flattering, creating the illusion of an instant hourglass figure. Next week, I am having a double bunionectomy, which means I’ll have my bunions corrected on both feet at the same time. (Super glamorous, right? 😜) Usually you can only have them corrected one foot at a time, so finding a doctor that could fix both at once was a game-changer for me. I will keep you posted on how it goes!

Post-surgery, I need to wear a special orthopedic sandal on each foot…meaning I can’t wear regular pants or shoes for weeks. My new style uniform for the upcoming season??
