👻 5 things I’m focusing on in October as a Mom of 4

1. Getting Cozy - - I mean, duh. We’re in the ber months and it just feels right to make everything as cozy as possible. The house, my wardrobe, our meal plan.
Cozy = comfy and I’m here for it all!

2. Getting Back to Basics - I’ve been feeling “off” the last couple of weeks. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but I’m just not feeling myself. So, I decided to get back to the basics. Trying to get enough sleep and water, moving my body, eating breakfast before 1 am, taking time for myself in the morning. Really just taking care of myself.

3. Allowing myself to be happy now - there’s so many times that we base our happiness on reaching a goal, being able to buy x,y, or z, When we get that bigger house, when our babies sleep through the night, etc. I think it’s a good reminder to live more in the present, and to be happy with what we have. While continuing to work towards our goals.

4. Protecting the white space on my schedule - We are busy. The girls’ social schedule alone takes up a lot of our time. && I have a tendency to want to do all the things. But, instead of trying to pack in every fall activity available, I want to make sure I’m protecting our time to spend home with just our family.

5. Complete unfinished projects - - We have quite a few half finished projects happening right now. And before the cold, cold weather rolls in, I would like to finish them up. Which is always a challenge with an infant. Sooo wish us luck. 🤞🏻

This is one of my favorite make up tips! While I love a good cream product, im a powder girlie. It’s who I am, can’t help it. But sometimes setting your makeup can make the look more dull than we want. So, to add a little life back into the face this is what I do.

Take your fav cream blush, I love the @dibsbeauty desert island duo in the shade 2.5, and apply right on top of your powder. You can use a brush, beauty blender, or even your finger tips.

I know this is usually beauty tabo… but I swear it works!

I snagged this free people inspired quilted jacket a few weeks back. And with the weather being so back and forth here in Michigan, I’m glad I did! Because I’ve been wearing it nonstop. I’ve been layering it with some of my favorite pregnancy friendly tops and leggings.

Speaking of leggings, my go to pair from @aerie are no longer being made with out a v…. Not ideal for pregnancy. So, I had to pivot and find a new favorite pair. I’ve been trying out a pair from amazon, and so far I really love them. They have a little bit more “compression” or support that the real me style from aerie.

I found these pjs on clearance! I’m wearing an XL in both the top and the bottom. They’re super soft, and there is plenty of room for baby to grow these next couple weeks.
