This is one of my favorite make up tips! While I love a good cream product, im a powder girlie. It’s who I am, can’t help it. But sometimes setting your makeup can make the look more dull than we want. So, to add a little life back into the face this is what I do.

Take your fav cream blush, I love the @dibsbeauty desert island duo in the shade 2.5, and apply right on top of your powder. You can use a brush, beauty blender, or even your finger tips.

I know this is usually beauty tabo… but I swear it works!

I don’t know about you, but there just doesn’t seem to be enough time in the day right now. One of the first things I put off is hair washing day. I hate having to blow dry my hair in the winter. I feel like it adds at least an hour onto my getting ready time… and I just don’t have the patience for it 🤷🏼‍♀️

I’ve traded in my mombun, since my hair is on the short side right now. And most of the time I’m rockin this chic, slicked back bun. I love that my hair isn’t all over the place while I’m chasing the kiddos. And I can look put together with minimal effort. #winning

And I’m definitely planning on wearing the crap out of it this summer, because it will be so easy to nurse Lucy in. Which is definitely a requirement for my summer wardrobe.

I heard Gap was back… well it never really left for me 😅 I’ve been shopping gap for years, for the girls and myself. When I saw these viral pull-on jeans hitting the internet, they looked like the perfect addition to my postpartum wardrobe. And I had to get my hands on them!

They’re super comfy, have front and back pockets. The fit is slightly oversized. So, if you are in-between sizes I would recommend you sizing down. I’m wearing a size Large here. They fit my waist perfectly, but are a little wider in the leg than I normally like. But the comfort level is 12/10

Put together the baby’s diaper caddy. We have a two story house, so I like to keep one on both levels for convenience. The caddy upstairs is very much dedicated to baby and mom. I always keep our favorite @tubbytodd on hand. Their products are perfect for babies, made with safe, gentle Ingredients.

While the second caddy downstairs has stuff for all the littles. Including pull-ups and undies for our potty training girlie. And lots of hair supplies for the big sisters, to make school mornings easier. It’s nice to have a dedicated spot for things during the chaos.

I like to change the caddies around seasonally, or even as the babies grow developmentally. Keeping little books and toys in there. Also, if baby is sick I will keep a saline solution and a nasal aspirator, aka a booger sucker, thermometer, etc. So I can have everything in one spot and near by.

This summer has been a whirl wind. The girls are headed back to school in a few short weeks. It’s always a bittersweet feeling. We are going to be doing our best to make the most of the time that we have left.

1. Surrendering to this season - - I genuinely think this will help with my mental state so much. We are in a ridiculously busy season, with 4 very busy kids. Our house is loud, it’s messy, and so what?! We live in our space and do the best that we can do to keep up. But I don’t want to spend my life cleaning vs being present with the girls.

2. Saying “No” more - - I am 100% over extending myself. And although I want to do all the things. I need to get better at practicing saying no, and protecting my peace. Saying no doesn’t make me a bad person. ❤️

3. Daily movement - - Another habit that really helps my mental health. And I have been 100% neglecting. Putting everything and everyone above myself. And quite frankly making all of the excuses. So, whether it’s a walk, jumping on the trampoline, swimming, lifting weights I was to make sure I’m moving my body.

4. Drinking More Water - - been falling victim to more coffee than water.. not great for anxiety. Or just my over all health, nuff said.

5. Being Fully Present - - this summer hasn’t gone exactly as I’d imagined. It’s just hard with an infant. I have definitely not been able to be the “ get your hair wet” mom that I want to be. And that’s okay, again.. we are surrendering to the season. That being said these next couple of weeks. I want to try my best to be fully present when I can be with the girls before they’re back in school and the hustle is back on

Something I’ve been missing from my wardrobe is a good swim cover up. So, I ordered a few to try from amazon, and they did not disappoint. All three options are very different styles, but all VERY cute!

Each cover up comes in different colors, which is awesome so you can coordinate with your suit. The white button up does run a little larger. I would personally size down. I’m wearing a large in all the pieces shown.

I snagged this free people inspired quilted jacket a few weeks back. And with the weather being so back and forth here in Michigan, I’m glad I did! Because I’ve been wearing it nonstop. I’ve been layering it with some of my favorite pregnancy friendly tops and leggings.

Speaking of leggings, my go to pair from @aerie are no longer being made with out a v…. Not ideal for pregnancy. So, I had to pivot and find a new favorite pair. I’ve been trying out a pair from amazon, and so far I really love them. They have a little bit more “compression” or support that the real me style from aerie.

I have every intention of dressing so cute during the summer months. And then that heat wave hits, and I find myself reaching for the easiest, mom friendly, least sticky options. And that is how my summer wardrobe has come to be made up of tanks, and cut off shorts.

.. even after I came to this conclusion while staring into my closet a few mornings ago. I still grabbed this tank at Walmart the other day. 😅🤷🏼‍♀️ The color combo was just speaking to me. And you know I can’t control myself around anything patriotic/nautical.
