I've raved about these J.Crew Carolina pants for years and they're perfect for this time of year -- linen blend so they're lightweight, comfortable and so versatile. The Gillian blouse is one of my absolute favorite pieces and this new baby blue plaid print is so pretty in person.

A denim jacket is one of those basic staples you can wear so many ways this time of year. I just picked up this one from Frame but I love the cuffed sleeves on this Paige denim jacket.

Stop buying black shoes!

I know, it sounds a bit dramatic, but hear me out. Black shoes can be tricky, especially with dresses or skirts, because they can look a bit severe. As stylists, we know that with black shoes, your eyes go straight to your feet. While we all need a great pair (or two) in our wardrobes, just stick to a simple strappy sandal or a slingback. This said, I don’t think they’re super important … especially now as we enter the spring and summer seasons.
