Trying something new… and apparently becoming a lip liner girl at 41. 💋

One of the reasons I keep reaching for @Merit is because their approach to clean, minimalist beauty fits what I’m looking for these days. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve found myself loving cream-based makeup so much more than powders. It blends beautifully, looks more natural on my skin, and doesn’t settle into fine lines the way some powders can.

I picked up MERIT’s new Signature Lip Liner and while I definitely need a little more practice with lip liner application 😅, I’m already loving how easy and forgiving this formula is.

Pro tip: Go to Sephora and get color matched in person, then check MERIT’s website before purchasing… you may find a better deal or bundle. 😉

I’m 41 years old and this is exactly the style I love… high waisted barrel jeans, Birkenstocks, the perfect heavyweight white T-shirt, and a neutral ball cap… perfection! This is exactly how I would style barrel jeans. I’m 5 foot three. I’m wearing my typical size 8 I actually sized down two times in this T-shirt to an extra small cause I didn’t want it to be too oversized, but it’s still oversized enough to tuck. These sandals are worth the money. They are so comfortable and cute. Don’t keep out on the inexpensive ones.

For YEARS I’ve tried everything to keep birds from turning my patio into their personal bathroom… a fan running nonstop, fake snakes, dinosaurs (yes 😂), all the flashy things… NOTHING worked.

But I think I finally found the solution 🙌🏼

My dad used this owl all last summer and swears by it — no more mess on his black Adirondack chairs by the fire pit. So I’m giving it a shot! Right now she’s just sitting on my chair (temporary placement lol), but I’m adding a stake and moving her into the landscaping ASAP.

And let me tell you… I had JUST put my cushions out and they were already covered in poop 😩

I’m already planning to grab another one for the front yard because apparently my driveway + basketball hoop is also prime bird real estate 🫠

This Thriller book is worth it! Trying to breeze through it so I can go see the movie! The Housemaid by Frieda McFadden.

I’m so excited about my new coffee maker! It’s multi serve meaning I can make any size coffee I want without those annoying plastic pods. It comes with a mesh filter so no paper filter necessary. It has a 24hr timer setting. The water reservoir removes completely for easy filling and cleaning. It’s sleek and beautiful. The cute cup shelf lifts your cup higher and it comes with a glass coffee carafe. The scoop it comes with tells you how many scoops for each size cup of carafe so you don’t have to memorize anything! So cool! I also love the no drip lock!
