This is what you wear to a get your budget passed by your Board.

I’m not your typical CFO. I don’t feel powerful in suits and I usually wear a dress for a Board meeting but this time I felt the need to wear something I felt chic, comfortable and confident in so I could be focused on the task at hand and not how hot I was in my tights. ‼️

One of the things I get told often by young women that come through my organization is that I model for them how they can show up to work and be authentically themselves.

One of the ways I do that is with the outfits I create. I wear bright colors, I make bold choices, and I wear jeans and a sweater to Board meetings. lol.

This is your reminder that you don’t have to look the part you just need to show up as you are. ❤️
