The ✨ details ✨For our primary bedroom renovation, our design plans prioritized maintaining the cabin charm, but adding the mid-century modern, retro vibe that the rest of the cabin has. We started by refinishing the existing hardwood floors and then we repurposed the wood paneling on the slanted ceilings and reinstalled it on the lower portion of the walls throughout the room. The duck wallpaper is definitely the focal point of the room and we added a few vintage furniture pieces with modern design elements to create a cohesive, balanced interior.
