High school me used to starve herself and drink Slim Fast for lunch trying to stay in the 120s because she thought that was the only weight that looked cute, the only figure that was desirable. She needed this trend so badly so that she could see beautiful figures come in sooooo many stats, shapes, and sizes. There is no “one size fits all” for being beautiful and honestly the outside beauty is nothing compared to what’s inside.❤️

I’ve lost some weight…let’s talk about it…💛

After being in the hospital for 7 days and needing to drastically change what I eat due to health problems, my body has changed quite a lot and quite quickly. Most would think weight loss = more confidence and I can confidently say that is false. It comes with its own challenges like extra skin you didn’t have before, extra bulges, extra sagging, and literally nothing in your closet fitting well. It comes with accepting a new body and rebuilding how you feel in that body. AND it comes with needing to rebuild your wardrobe, which has to start with the most important basic - your bra!

As straightforward as it may seem, I didn’t realize how I fit into all my clothes would change with my changing body! Especially my bras, so I decided to invest in new ones that actually fit. The difference? Instant comfort, lifted confidence, and a reminder that my worth isn’t tied to a tag size. 💕 Bodies change, and that’s normal. Here’s to honoring our bodies in every phase, curves and all.
