I solved the need to change jeans sizes frequently by purchasing these Judy Blue Black Jeans with the rips lined with leopard trim because the fabric is so stretch friendly and acclimates to changes in shapes and sizes! The lining also works to camouflage the fact that I’m wearing medical grade compression! Leopard loafers are a great staple for any season. #leopardprintfashion

Patch Pocket Jeans with vertical studded buttons are such a win for creating visual interest/ distraction on a curvy surface. The slit back pockets actually minimize the look.

Weightloss and Shopping 🛍️

Style Tip: Always try on a variety of styles and sizes. Whether that is for in person shopping like I prefer or online ordering. Yes, it will temporarily be more costly online and you will have to be diligent about your returns! But, this is a necessary step in finding close that fit and honor your evolving body. (This goes for post Lipedema and skin removal surgery as well.)

Into the first 2 slides, I’ve got on an XL. You can see under my arm in the first pic how much extra fabric there is. When I turn in slide 2, not sure if you can see how much extra material there is and how the laces are tied as closely as possible. This dress is an adorable style, made of thick denim with pockets and a shirred drop waist and a fuller skirt that is a total keeper if you can find it in your actual size. This was the only size they had so I left it behind. We are wearing what actually fits us now and not worrying about the lack of options!

The 3rd slide starts the next dress that is also made of heavy denim and is in a size medium. This is a perfect close fit but I knew it would loosen up with wear and also as I hit my latest milestone of ONEDERLAND 🥳 The stitching goes magically with my figure and highlights my curves👏

Denim is even stronger this season and I would say these are both deserving of a place in your try ons!

This is what JOYFUL Movement looks like in real life!

Day 2 of being up 3 hrs earlier than my circadian rhythm due to change in time zone, really stiff in the morning rolling right out of bed, not knowing the routine and how my body will react, worried that something may tweak causing a back step with mobility, realizing platform sneakers are NOT for Zumba class yet still getting in there and moving with SO MUCH JOY!!!

THIS IS LIVING!!! Doing what you can even when you are not sure of the outcome.

I wasn’t concerned about how I might look and though my sneakers may have not been the easiest to dance in, they sure looked cute👟

THIS is NOT how your jeans or pants should fit! Tailoring will not help this situation.

I really wanted to LOVE these DKNY lightweight, patch pocket with a cargo pocket, too, blue jeans with the orange stitching and belt to tie. But, nope! These were not cut for my body shape. They were cut for someone with straighter proportions and let me say you girlies with proportional measurements should run to get these because they are so comfortable, nicely designed and the fabric weight is perfect for summer and fall! I love the shade of blue these jeans are dyed, too.👖

If you really knew me, you’d know that when it comes to my son I jump into action at a moments notice!

Yesterday, he had to present his final project in engineering class. He and his team created a product for truck owners and had to present it to a group of judges. (Yes, this was a final High School project… these students have participated in some fantastic opportunities!)

Anyway, he said no parents were attending. It started at 5:30pm. At 5:40pm I got the call 📞 “Mom, there ARE some other parents here, you can attend our presentation, we are 4th and it hasn’t begun yet.”

Thank God for Jumpsuits and One piece dressing!!!🙏 By 6:05pm, I was in my seat after changing out of my workout gear(see my previous post for reference) into this lovely denim jumpsuit, freshened up and drove our truck 🛻 for the first time!

Nothing like a little motivation to make it happen at the drop of the hat! They did a great job and their product and presentation was well received👏 So happy I could be there. Love him so much!🩵💙🩵💙🩵💙
