These last few days before break always feel a little sweeter, like the world slows down just enough to notice what really matters. A full house again, a busy kitchen, and the kind of ordinary moments I already know I’ll miss one day. From quick grocery runs and half-empty fridges to burgers on the grill, milkshakes on the counter, and laughter filling the room, this season reminds me that joy doesn’t have to be loud to be meaningful. Nothing fancy, nothing planned, just together. These are the nights I pray my boys carry with them and someday recreate with their own families, the kind of memories that settle deep in your heart and last long after the dishes are done and the house grows quiet again. Truly one of those simple, sacred evenings I’ll always be thankful for—and yes, Mason will be home very soon 🤍
