hoyacarnosa is my original hoya; my first love! I just move this beast outside for the summer. I’m hoping it will bloom for me because of this. Hoya Carnosa seems to be one of my most stubborn bloomers! Liz’s personal care experience only…every environment is different: 🪴Light: West Sun 🪴Water: when dry 🪴Avg Temp last 30 days: 74F 🪴Relative Humidity last 30 days: 45% 🪴Fussy: not for me 🪴Rate of growth: medium 🪴Rareness: not commonly found in stores, but in a lot of private collections since it’s been available in the US market for close to 100 years now. May particular cuttings at least 35 years old. 🪴Pot size: 12” pot 🪴Potting Mix: cactus soil ammended with coco husks 🪴Fertilizer: I apply a nutrient-rich fertilizer tailored for Hoyas approximately every other watering when the plant isn’t dormant.
