One of the hottest denim trends right now is barrel leg jeans. Now, before you pass on this trend or say “it’s not for me,” hear me out… Full disclosure: I was totally against the barrel-leg denim trend until several of you raved about how flattering they are and insisted I try this exact pair. Next week, I am having a double bunionectomy, which means I’ll have my bunions corrected on both feet at the same time. (Super glamorous, right? 😜) Usually you can only have them corrected one foot at a time, so finding a doctor that could fix both at once was a game-changer for me. I will keep you posted on how it goes!

Post-surgery, I need to wear a special orthopedic sandal on each foot…meaning I can’t wear regular pants or shoes for weeks. My new style uniform for the upcoming season?? The “Carrie” coat by SIMKHAI, is one of my favorite finds of the season. It’s beautiful, elegant, and truly a standout coat that I’ll be picking up time and time again.
