TIP TUESDAY — How high should I hang my art?
At eye level. Your eyes should fall at the middle of the artwork.

A good average for hanging art and photos is that the middle should be 57-60 inches from the floor. If you’re tall or have 10’ plus ceilings go a few inches higher. When hanging a larger collection of pictures, treat them as one large piece, centering the grouping at that same 57-60 inch measurement. My preference is 2-3 inches between art, when hanging multiples. Eye level is so easy to remember. If you’re very petite, use inches. I’ve link some of the art I have in my home as well as other favorites.

I get a little giddy when I find something that adds charm to my spaces. Charm adds cozy and comfort and says “Hey, you’re welcome here.” My new porch rugs, bunnies and fluted planters all add a little charm. How pretty is the scallop edge on my front door rug?! It’d be lovely in a large size under furniture as well.
