I don't even know what called to me to grab this leather dress off the rack considering it was 98 degrees, 99% humidity and we were under a heat advisory. But dang this is gorgeous! This is a fun take on a classic shape. I love plaid so the on-trend oversized plaid paired with a classic shape coat is right up my alley. Plus, it's soft! This is definitely a thicker coat so it will work well in the fall and winter and is roomy enough to layer over sweaters. I first tried on a small but ended up getting an XS (which is pictured below).

It's TTS if you want extra room for layering but size down if you don't think you'll layer super thick sweaters under it. So maybe size down if you live in the South but get your usual size if you live in a colder climate.

This striped sweater is by madewell and included in the #NSale! This one is mostly cotton with a little bit of stretch and it’s super soft and comfortable. This will also transition well from summer to fall! I have a small and it’s TTS.

Jeans are comfortable and stretchy (under $100). I have a 2 regular (but I want to get the petite for length).

Shoes are SO comfortable and exclusive to the sale!

Jeans are super stretchy and under $100. I want to get the petite version so they hit a little higher on my leg, but the sizing is perfect. I got a 2.

These platform sandals are such a fun transitional shoe. They’re SO cushioned. I feel like I’ll wear them most around the house and with athleisure but I could see them working with certain rompers and dresses. I bought my usual size in these.

This lounge set from the Nordstrom anniversary sale is one of my favorite purchases. Both pieces are SPANX, and they are in the airessential fabric that we love so much. I went up to a medium, in both the shorts and the top, and I think that was the right choice. Make sure you size up. My favorite blazer from the Nordstrom anniversary sale. The quality is really good, the price tag is even better, and I love the neutral color-way, but the fact that it has a pattern is really fun. The review say it’s oversized, but I disagree. Get your true size.

My favorite jeans from the Nordstrom anniversary sale. I’m wearing a size 2 and they run a smidge large, and I wish I had bought the petite length. I’m 5’1” so if you’re short like me, be sure to grab the petite so that the length is a little bit better! My top is actually a bodysuit, but I just don’t snap the bottom. The quality is amazing and I love the neckline. Runs true to size. My black flats are also part of the Nordstrom sale and run true size, but they are pricey!
