It’s a NEED 🎯💯👌🏻

Things to Know: the instructions say to apply a generous amount of moisturizer to your face prior to using the wand. I prefer to use a couple drops of Good Molecules #HyaluronicAcidSerum (tagged) as I’ve noticed the wand moves better across my skin with a serum base instead of a moisturizer base. Regardless of which product you use/prefer, just make sure you apply something first! 😂👌🏻

How fun is this rose-shaped #KabukiBrush ?! TBH, I feel kind of bad using it & getting it dirty 🙈😂! As per most kabuki brushes, I would NOT recommend using any kind of liquid product with this brush. BC these bristles are super soft, I’d stick to powder products only! 💯

Top 3 Shook Moments:
🔹the bristles are SUPER soft & do not stick or shed.
🔹 weight is balanced & doesn’t feel heavy in the hand when holding or during application.
🔹 comparable brush size (diameter) to other kabuki brushes. Sometimes with “novelty” brushes we get more of the “novelty” than the actual brush itself, but this is equal parts both functional & pretty!

It’s a NEED from me on these #Amazon silicone #makeupbrush travel covers ✅. One side is smooth & one side acts as a cleaning palette! 3 Styling Hacks Every Curly Girly Needs to Know 👇🏻

1. Use a MICROFIBER towel! Trust & believe my curls started looking a helluva lot more healthy + less frizzy the second I stopped using my bath towel (cotton) to dry my hair 🥴. I have a few different microfiber towels from various brands & the only real difference I notice between them is their thickness. While #TurbieTowels are more affordable & you can purchase nearly 2 sets of 2 for the price of one #DevaCurl towel 🥵, I find DevaCurl towels to be thicker & therefore absorb the moisture faster, making my wash/condition/style process easier & MUCH faster (which is totally worth it to me!).

2. Do EVERYTHING upside down! From brushing to scrunching to drying - keep your head DOWN ⬇️! This helps build volume in a "natural" way without having to use additional products to achieve the volume you desire. Being a curly girly is not for the faint of heart or for weak pockets so any time you can cut a corner without damaging your curls, i highly recommend taking full advantage 💯‼️

3. Use a diffuser when blow drying your hair & do NOT stop until AFTER the point where it feels like your arm is going to fall off (bc if you’re doing it right – it will 😩). Seriously though, diffusing is usually where people give up bc it takes forever + you have to continuously scrunch upwards. If you have thick hair like me, you might as well just pull up a chair + put on some good tunes bc you will be there awhile 🙄🤦🏼‍♀️. I can, however, pinky promise that it will be 110% worth it in the long run ❣️ I try to let my hair air dry as often as possible but sometimes the situation (or my inability to manage time effectively) does not allow me to wait 2 full days for it to completely dry so if I do use a hot tool, I always use a good heat protectant (I tagged my favorite one), grab my diffuser, + get to scrunching (whilst dancing to my jams ☝🏻)!

My holy grail products for staying silky, smooth, & sexy for bikini (& every) season! 👙💛

⚡️Game Changing Shaving Hacks! ⚡️
▫️ Clean your razor blade with BABY OIL (less harsh on blades than alcohol)!
▪️ Do NOT use the same blade more than 10 times.
▪️ Do NOT keep your razor in the shower! The humidity from the shower can cause bacteria to build in your razor.
▪️ DO NOT USE SOAP! Instead, use OIL! Tree Hut's shave oil is a GAME CHANGER.
▫️ Exfoliate before AND after to avoid any ingrown hairs! I prefer to use a sugar scrub but you can also use baby oil which will soften the hair.
▫️Shave at the END of your shower! The steam during your shower will open your pores and cleanse the top layer of your skin! Once you are done shaving, close your pores back up with COOL water!
▫️ TRIM before your shave. You want the blades to be as clean and clear as possible!
▫️ START by shaving in the direction of your hair growth (typically south), THEN go north! (fun fact: shave east to west on your knees!). Also, shorter strokes make it less likely to cut yourself.
▫️ Use LIP BALM to stop the bleeding from any cuts! I prefer a wax balm over jelly.
▫️After shaving dab some witch hazel on the area (wipes are easiest IMO) to avoid any irritation, rashes, ingrowns, etc. I prefer witch hazel w/ aloe in it so it also helps with any inflammation.
▫️Last step = MOISTURIZE. Whichever you prefer (& is best for your hair type), soothing mists, baby oil, aloe, body butters, or just your regular every-day lotion, make sure you moisturize the area when you are finished!
▫️ Remember, the softer the hair, the easier the shave so as your hair is regrowing, continue to exfoliate and apply nourishing oils/gels to better help you on your next shave day!
