Chloe has been getting purées as part of her diet for a few months now, but always spoon-fed. Lately she’s been showing interest in eating directly from the pouches so we pulled out our pouch holder (in an effort to minimize messes) and it’s been a big hit! I had forgotten how useful this thing is.

Chloe has finally accumulated enough of her own “baby toys” to warrant having baskets in her room to help wrangle them.

Our playroom has plenty of toys for various ages / development groups, but the ones that live in Chloe’s room (along with her books) are *just for her*.

Sometimes we need to retreat into her room to get some space for her to just be a baby… this low bookshelf is a perfect storage space for her things.

I think that bubble rompers (/playsuits?) are my favorite article of baby clothing. There’s just something sooo precious about them and they’re the perfect wardrobe staple for warm weather!

I couldn’t resist this crinkly, ruffly indigo bubble for Chloe — I’m trying to soak up all of her baby-ness while I still can. 🥰

This is my favorite straw training cup for babies (and we’ve tried quite a few!).
- The lid is easy for grown ups to remove / replace, but not for littles
- The straw stays put so no yanking out by tiny hands
- The double handles offer a great grip
- I love the soft sides for gently squeezing to push liquid up for straw training
- Cup can also later be used as an open cup OR as a snack cup (with included lid)

We packed up our beloved Halo Bassinest bassinet for the last time earlier this week — it has been a dream to use with both of our girls. While it’s the right time to move our baby to her crib in her own room, this bassinet has definitely served us well and we highly recommend it (I’m definitely in my feelings about never having another baby in our bedroom 😭).

We have the 2.0 Luxe version but I’ve also linked the two newest styles that Halo offers. Additionally, we used their infant insert for both girls which I’ve linked as well — I recommend buying two as there WILL be spit ups and blow-outs and you’ll want a clean one. 🫣

These battery powered sconces were such perfect additions to the girls’ rooms. Super easy to install, I think the quality is pretty great (given the price), the dim setting is excellent for nighttime feeds and diaper changes in our nursery, and we love having non-overhead lighting that isn’t a standing lamp (with a dangerous power cord).

*Note: I will say that the bulbs that come with the light fixtures have a history for being flimsy and are notorious for the piece that holds the charging cable in place breaking off and getting lost inside inside, but we ordered replacement rechargeable bulbs and have been happy with them so far!

I can’t believe we’re already introducing this activity table to Chloe! 🥺 This was one of Sophie’s FAVORITE things to play with and it seems like Chloe feels the same way! She’s been loving sitting up and being able to play with the toys all around her!

Chloe is upping her formula intake which means she’s outgrowing her infant bottles — why do these kinds of small milestones sometimes feel even bigger than the developmental milestones? 😩

We have adored these bottles for both of our girls — the nipples are pretty ergonomic(?) and parts are easy to mix-and-match, clean, and travel with. I just can’t believe it’s time to switch to the larger size already — time is a thief!

We are already big fans of the Stokke Tripp Trapp high chair, but this is our first time using the infant attachment and we have been loving it! Chloe can join us at the table and we can have our hands free to eat our meals. These high chairs are one of our favorite items for our littles because they can literally grow with them — such a clever design!

This has been one of my favorite products to put our babies in when not carrying or wearing them. The girls have both loved it too! It’s a great spot for babies to sit propped up [while supervised] after eating (to avoid reflux) and for the parent to be hands free for a bit.

Right now Chloe really enjoys being in her bouncer while placed close enough to the dangling parts of her play gym to kick them around. I know she’ll love properly bouncing in it as she grows, just like her older sister did!

Oh my goodness, I had forgotten how much fun it is for baby to kick around under a play gym and make some noise with the dangling pieces! Chloe has been having a ball sitting in her little bouncer seat kicking at the Lovevery Sensory Strands addition to her play gym while I do tasks like fold laundry. I highly recommend this sensory play for baby (and for a few minutes hands-free for mama! 😅).

I’m doing a LOT more baby-wearing with my second baby because I need to be hands-free while I chase my toddler around. 🤪 Chloe is a big fan (and I have to say, I don’t mind the constant cuddles 🥹)!

I love the light, neutral color that will “work with” any outfit, the nubby texture of the fabric, the comfort of the fit, AND the fact that it’s machine washable!

I know it’s silly to get shoes for babies, but I couldn’t resist these! I had something similar for Sophie (that looked like tiny Keds! 🥹) and they were in heavy rotation so I know I’ll get a lot of use out of these cuties with Chloe. I think they’ll go with so much of her Jamie Kay wardrobe!

I almost forgot to capture this little bean in our little heirloom bow swaddle before she outgrows it! 💕🎀 Such a sweet way to wrap your babe and it’s especially perfect for newborn photos. I wish I had known about these footie pajamas with my first baby! The magnetic closure makes them a dream product for newborn parents — I LOVE a double zipper, but this design is my new favorite, especially for those middle-of-the-night diaper changes!
They offer a variety of fabrics, colors and prints, but this pointelle fabric in color “tofu” is my favorite. I even bought a few spares for the inevitable blowouts so I always have a clean one. 😂

*New Parent Note: these are also -perfect- for doctor appointments so you don’t have to deal with fussier outfits.

Sharing what I put in our Labor & Delivery Nurse Thank-You Baskets! I tried to do a mix of snacks and non-edible options so that the nurses can choose what they want out of it. Obviously, I went with a pink theme for Baby Girl! 🎀💕
(I know the hand sani and lip balms are a bit pricey, but I scored them at a lower price during the Sephora sale and only got 3 of each product for both baskets).

We were relieved to [re]discover that our UppaBaby Mesa V2 infant car seat is still valid until September of 2027! I gave it a thorough cleaning (vacuumed out all crumbs, washed all padding, etc.) and it looks as good as new.
We’re all set for baby to arrive now! I love that I can manage this car seat with one hand, especially since I also have a toddler to keep my eyes on. 😅 We’ll install the base in the car soon so that we have it all prepared for whenever baby girl decides to arrive.

We loved these bottles for feeding Sophie and are really hoping that Baby #2 takes to them in the same way. 🤞🏼
These are so easy to disassemble to clean, reassemble, and we love how functional the parts are (nipples and lid attachments can be swapped out, silicone pieces compressed for travel to minimize number of bottles needed, etc). Really hoping that Baby Girl loves them as much as Sophie did because they’re awesome! 🍼

Once we bought Squid Socks for Sophie we’ve never gone back! They’re so brilliant and actually STAY ON (if you’re a parent, you understand this struggle). Of course, we had to stock up for our new baby! We definitely continue to buy them for our #LTKtoddler as well — she calls them her “sticky socks” and we love that the silicone texture on the bottom keeps her from slipping around on our wood floors.
