Summer is the season for dresses-and not just for “dressing” up! I’m honestly a lazy dresser, so if I can grab one piece, throw it on and have a whole outfit, sign me up! @walmart has so many options to wear for everyday summer looks, but they also have a few options for dressier (there’s that word again) occasions too!

This one and done linen blend shirt dress has been a favorite of mine for awhile. I pulled it back into rotation for a lunch date and art gallery visit with my husband. It comes in so many pretty colors but I love this baby pink shade. Wearing it in a size small. The shoes are so comfy and run true to size. They’ll also look great paired with all of my linen pants this season!

I may be a golf cart passenger princess, but at least in this outfit, I LOOK like I can play a round of golf! For those of you who do play golf, tennis, pickleball or just want to look like you could, this dress is perfect. I like the slightly longer length, and that the dress itself has deep pockets. Starting off the week by getting some fresh air and getting those steps in! The day started off in the 30’s and went up to the 60’s so layering was the key. What you can’t see-my new favorite layering long sleeve tee (I now have it in 4 colors and plan on more, size XS). For lunch I ditched the hat, draped the sweatshirt (size small) over my shoulders, unsnapped the cuffs of my pants (size XS) to make them a straight leg and swapped the sneakers for loafers. To front tuck or not to front tuck-that is the question! The answer is, sometimes! My take is that the full tuck is trending, but that doesn’t mean the front tuck is dead. It still is a great choice for certain tops, especially bulkier tops like sweaters.

Unless you just want to go to get some steps in or confirm a size, my tip is to avoid the mall. It was yet another disappointing trip as far as store inventory was concerned but it was nice to walk around and get some fresh air!

The sweater comes in lots of colors and is SO soft. Easy to tuck in or wear out. The jeans also come in black and run big so I sized down one size. They are high waisted and I love that I can wear them with flats!
