This was my NYC moment! I was invited to sit on a panel and teach two workshops at the YouTube Shopping Summer Event this week and while it was a step out of my comfort zone, it was an incredible experience and I loved it! I wanted to choose an outfit that was comfortable, semi-casual, a little professional, but also reflected how I really dress-not a “costume” that I thought other fashion & beauty creators would be impressed with. I loved what I put together here-in fact, if you saw my @onequince haul in early April on my YouTube channel then this should look familiar!

For sizing, I’m wearing the linen blazer and poplin maxi skirt in XS. The blazer has functional side pockets AND hidden pockets inside the blazer, and of course the skirt has pockets too! I was on my feet ALL DAY and these shoes were so comfortable-they run true to size!

I think I grabbed whatever didn’t need to be steamed or ironed and just get going. I like the end result-it can be casual (especially with the slides) or dressed up more if I swap out the shoes and bag. Wearing the Oxford cloth shirt and wide leg tencel pants in an XS. Shoes are true to size and also come in a rich tan.

Do you have one or two pieces of clothing that you just can’t stop wearing? They’re your “go to” pieces for a variety of outfits? For me, it’s this viscose blend blouse. I have it in two colors but this French blue has my heart! I paired it with a pair of pants I ordered in November but have never shared. They’re a high waist flare trouser that comes in quite a few colors and patterns and three inseam lengths. I’m wearing the 2 short so I can wear them with flats. I’ve had these gap toe slingbacks for about a year and I’m so glad they’re back in stock! It’s hard to find them with a navy cap toe instead of black! And…my Italian leather buckle shoulder bag in ivory is back in stock! It also comes in black or tan but I think the ivory is great for spring!

I wore this outfit to accompany my husband and younger son to an indoor golf simulator and then make a grocery store run. I brought along a backpack with my laptop, headphones and work stuff so I could edit this week’s video while they virtually played a round of golf for two hours. I am so glad I decided to put together an outfit instead of throwing on loungewear because I ran into one of you at the grocery store! That was the cherry on top of a lovely, relaxing yet productive day!

Now on to the outfit details…these are a new to me Jean style from @onequince. They’re a relaxed straight leg and the material has a nice weight to it. Comes in two washes and inseam lengths. I’m in between sizes so I sized up one. I LOVE the double scuba knit fabric on this top. I think it’s going to be a spring outfit staple for sure. The knit jacket is selling out quickly-if you’ve been considering it, grab it before it’s gone and while it’s on sale!

I still have outfits to share from our Tucson trip! I wore this sweater dress to dinner on our last night, layered OVER fleece lined tights and UNDER a new cardigan with the prettiest gold buttons! It was sunny but COLD in the desert this month! This sweater dress is one of my favorites-I actually wore it last fall when we were in Vermont in a different color. Kept it casual for a sunset dinner outside on the patio at the golf club. The photos don’t do the beauty of the setting justice. It was a bit chilly (and by a bit I mean we commandeered THREE heaters by the end of dinner) but it was worth it for the views and the meal! I wore the same cashmere crewneck that I wore on my travel day paired with my current favorite pair of jeans and ankle boots. I did bring along my lightweight puffer coat which kept me warm but my hands and face got cold-hence the heaters. If you’re in the Dove Mountain area of Tucson, I definitely recommend @Caytons!

Got my spa day in! Ok-it wasn’t a whole day, it was a 50 minute relaxation massage with some time in the sauna beforehand, but it was lovely! My Barefoot Dreams set (they’re technically pajamas) are on sale in all the colors, so grab them now! I’m wearing them in a size XS. I’m also wearing this Athleta tank with a built in bra underneath and I’ve worn it almost every day on our trip. I need to grab more of them-it’s on sale too! I’m wearing it in an XS and I’m a 32D/DD. If you’re not sure, size up. It’s snug on me going on but once it’s on, it’s fine

If you find a soft, drapey (that’s a word now) chambray shirt that snaps, snatch it up! I got this one during the Nordstrom sale and now it’s over at Nordstrom Rack! This shirt goes with EVERYTHING, even knit wide leg cargo pants. I added a pair of faux suede loafers in raspberry pink for a pop of color (they do come in lots of neutral colors as well) and now I have a very casual outfit that doesn’t look sloppy.
