Nordstrom Anniversary sale try ons: Mules that felt very comfortable and actually adjustable in width (almost never see this!) so they don’t slip off the feet.

Love how bold yet classic the red looks on a customer pic in the reviews!

I’m usually a size 5 to 5.5 in most brands, but the insole length felt a tad bit short for me. I would go with my bigger half size 5.5 in these, possibly even 6.

Best of Nsale designer denim :

• AG jeans, Waist runs big. This is a very flattering cut with petite-friendly length (works on me with flats), in a soft denim with stretch and a beautiful lighter blue wash.

Size down in these! I was trying on my usual 24 and would need a 23.

The cut is similar to the Madewell jeans I adore, except the AG fabric has a luxuriously soft feel and more stretch, with a more relaxed fit.

• Also linked the Madwell wide crop with pockets! Very cute and flattering, just note this is a full length style so I'd ideally wear 2.5 to 3 inch heels with this. It looks cropped on the model but it's a little past full length on me. Sizing down to 23 in the Madewell Jean fit me perfectly

Nsale try on: Zella effortless dress in XS. (Also linked the sweaty betty version which is a very popular athleisure dress with built in bra and pockets. )

Such a good comfy yet chic piece to throw on or travel in.

Has a built in sports style shelf bra with very light padding, chic dropped V dip waistline, very light and airy skirt with hidden side pockets.

Would suggest getting this hemmed at Nordstrom if you’re petite and want to make it the midi length shown on the model. Cardholders get free basic alterations plus an alterations credit based on your level!

True to size - An xxs would be more ideal for me but sizing starts only in Xs. The bodice is a little big on me and would best if it’s a little more fitted.

tried on the moonbeam color too and just FYI you can see through it a tiny bit, at the bust cup outline.

The most petite-friendly Levis styles are in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! the second number in the size indicates the inseam

• Levi’s jacket: while I LOVE the 90s trucker oversized fit, I tried on the Nsale one and prefer the ones sold at Levis.com.

The Nsale version is all cotton and would be great for those who want a traditional Levi’s rigid style denim.

Alternatively , the LEvis.com version of this jacket (also linked below under “similar”) has a Tencel cotton blend so the fabric is more soft and lightweight, which I prefer.

• Levi 501 jeans: a petite friendly length jean, I take 24 x 26. These are straight cut with room in the thighs and legs and ankle length on me. The Nsale wash is a beautiful classic medium blue.

• Levi Ribcage straight jeans: another go-to of mine, I take size 24 x 27. these have a super high rise and are full length and perfect on me with flats or sneakers.

• Levi Wedgie Straight jeans: my go-to Levis, I take my true size 24 x 26 for an ankle length fit. Unfortunately It seems that 26 length is currently sold out, but I linked them well stocked at Levi’s.com

NSale self care picks!

• as someone who loves the OSEA algae body oil, the Nsale bundle is a great value for a full size bottle of the oil, plus a travel size bottle and a small body butter. You can read customer reviews about the oil on a separate page that sells only the oil.

I find the oil to be nourishing, softening, gives off a little glow and I personally love the scent and I’m not big on scented body products

• barefoot dreams throw is a classic anniversary sale item. We have two and the kids love curling up in them too

• briogeo scalp exfoliating shampoo with scalp massager tool. I have repurchased this shampoo many times for my oily scalp. I don’t use it every time, I switch it out and use this once a week.

• gel eye patches, I also love these on a flight.

Babyzen yoyo stroller on sale (very rare promo)!

• We’ve used this compact lightweight stroller for nearly 6 years now, as our travel stroller for each trip and also for city outings when we want a smaller stroller.

When we lived in a walk up condo, I would sling this over my shoulders using the carrying strap to go up and down the stairs with baby in my arms or a carrier.

• The stroller seat by itself can be used starting at age 6 months.

• However you can start using it earlier with an attachment. Starting when Nori was newborn, we used this by popping her Nuna Pipa infant car seat (linked and on sale) on top of the yoyo frame using a converter (also linked, sold separately).

This worked great going from car to stroll while baby stays asleep!

• This is also our go to stroller for any car rides and outings because it’s much more compact than our everyday stroller for lifting and fitting in a smaller trunk.

• to change the color of your Yoyo stroller seat and canopy, you can buy separate fabric color packs sold separately.

• For a high quality full size everyday stroller that can grow from accommodating 1 kid to multiple kids, I recommend the Cybex Gazelle stroller or the popular UPPAbaby vista. Both on sale and linked as well

Another pick from the NSale denim selection: the Madewell wide crop. Very cute front pockets, slimming and elongating fit. Just note this is a full length style so I’d ideally wear 2.5-3 inch heels with them.

I’m usually between a 23 and 24 in Madewell jeans and can do either. Sizing down to 23 in this is fitted at the waist and hips on me. For reference I’m about 5 feet 95 lbs

Gentle Souls ankle booties included in Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale! I got black last year and loved them so much, I hunted down brown and mushroom as well.

Size up if between sizes. I’m usually a 5 to 5.5 and went up to 5.5 since the front toe felt a little narrow

These have a cushioned insole, flexible rubber outsole, and a slim stretchy ankle shaft that works perfectly tucked under jeans and pants or with tights.

Note: this boot comes out in new iterations each year with a different style name, but I’ve found them to all be extremely similar. My 3 pairs all have a different style name (ie the Ella boot) but looks and feel nearly the same.

Save $150. this is the time of the year to get the Nuna Rava convertible car seat on sale at Nordstrom’s Anniversary sale!

Can be used with infant insert since birth rear facing, and then up to 65 lbs forward facing. We have one for each kid and have used one of them for 4 years already.

sturdily built with high safety ratings, thick cushioning, easy to install and tighten properly.

From birth to age 1, we used the Nuna Pipa infant car seat which is also on sale. It’s very lightweight and portable and can be popped onto strollers, which is why we used it for the first year instead of a car seat like the Rava that you keep secured in the car!

• there is also a Nuna TRVL stroller and carseat bundle on Nsale. The TRVL is an excellent travel stroller but I have no experience with the specific carseat in that bundle.

This very petite friendly Allsaints cropped leather jacket is back in a new color for Nsale.

High quality, soft leather and one of the most petite friendly cuts.

Allsaints Dalby styles tend to run smaller. I’m trying on a 2 here and a 0 would me fit perfectly

One of the best Nordstrom anniversary sale items each year in terms of high quality and fit for petites : the Allsaints Dalby leather jacket

A timeless leather moto jacket that I've had for a few years.

The 00 is a snug fit as Allsaints jackets run small, I would size up to a 0 if buying now. I did try on this years and the 0 fit best.

Also linking the Dalby cropped style that I found to be chic, modern and petite friendly . You can see the fit on me in another LTK. Love how the cropped length shows off the waistline for petites esp with dresses

Was looking for good quality pieces knits from the Nordstrom anniversary sale and this cardigan was an unexpected find! Linked a few other knits on my wishlist

• Ribbed zip cardigan - trying on in xs which was a loose casual fit on me with sleeves cuffed up, but this is available online in xxs. Cardigan is wool / alpaca blend that felt soft to the touch, medium weight, and easy to throw on over a tank top and jeans.

• Madewell perfect vintage jeans in altoona wash 24P - these are some of my favorite Madewell jeans. So flattering, I own them in several different washes!

• Dolce vita flats 5.5 (I also tried on the Nsale look for less flats which are tts, I am a 5.5 in those too)

A close look-for-less option for these Dolce vita Reyes flats that I own and love!

The Black shoe on my foot is the Nordstrom shoe on sale

the cream shoe on my foot is the Dolce Vita Reyes flat.

The red and cream shoes on the floor are Nordstrom.

The shape is extremely similar with a modern rounded square toe and feminine thin buckle strap. Both fit the same size wise and feel TTS - I fit a 5.5 in both.

The DV has a little more padding in the leather all around the outer edges of the shoe, and the leather feels a little softer . So I do think the DV is worth more if budget allows, but the Nordstrom is quite similar

The DV is also cut slightly lower in the front by the toes

My favorite $15 sunglasses stocked and on sale in both colors! $10 each if you buy 2. These seem to get restocked often!

Linked a few other items on sale. The black Zella dress is such a great summer piece with a built in bra but I would get it hemmed by Nordstrom for petites

If you’re looking for an everyday work tote that fits a laptop without overwhelming in size for petites- this seems like a great option in 2 beautiful colors!

• Varley textured half zip - tried this exact one and it’s so good, a Varley classic. I take xxs in their pullovers and find them to be very good quality . Also in black.

• sweaty betty athleisure dress with pockets is one of their signature items. Blue is part of the sale and black is full price, but you can read sizing reviews on the black dress page

• Zella Racerback midi dress with pockets. Xs is Maxi length on me with a very lightweight and breezy skirt , built in shelf bra! Black is most low maintenance

• New Balance sneakers on sale. Super lightweight and comfortable, I take my usual women’s 5.5 or kids 4

• Zella pocket 7/8 leggings - got these petite friendly leggings in Xs many years back and wear them often

• Zella Cinchable hooded jacket - oversized fit on me in Xs, very lightweight. Chic fit and feel like the Lululemon always jacket

• Gentle Soul suede heel booties - comes in 4 colors, the best supportive sock boot. I have last year’s version in size 5.5. In black, brown and taupe and wore them all around the city

• Stuart Weitzman sock booties over $200 off.

• Waterproof blondo knee high suede boots. I’ve tried these on and the shaft of a 5.5 is a slimmer fit and hits right below my knee

• Chelsea boot - haven’t tried these on personally yet. a classic look with a low block heel
