My master bathroom is where I come to relax and unwind. I wanted it simple and spa-like. If this is your goal, here are some things to consider when designing your space:

🌿Keep it simple and clutter free. Keep the majority of your products organized in drawers and cabinets. I don’t know about you, but too much “stuff” in my field of view stresses me out.
🌿Be mindful of your colors. Choose soothing colors like pastels, neutrals, and earth tones to create a calming effect.
🌿Incorporate greenery. Add plants to your bathroom. If live plants are not an option, there are tons of pretty faux options that will give you the same visual look.
🌿Don’t forget texture: This can be done by adding elements of wood, interesting tile, and textured vases. If you want to keep it practical, display some some plush towels and bath products in pretty containers.

I’m finally getting around to showing some of the organization we incorporated in my master bath sit down vanity. Since this is where I predominantly get ready, I knew I wanted lots of deep drawers and places to organize my makeup and hair care. The tall, pull out drawer was originally intended to hold curling irons, but after a little scare where one accidentally got turned on in that close drawer, I decided I wanted to unplug them at all times when not in use. I move things around and this drawer ended up working out perfectly for storing my hair and makeup brushes. PRO TIP: include outlets in your cabinetry and drawers!

My brain functions better when everything has a place, and we included lots of specialty drawers and storage throughout our home.

These damage free suction hooks are a great option for hanging towels and washcloths when you don’t want to put a hole in the wall or tile. They come in matte black, brushed gold, and brushed nickel. We’ve been using these throughout our home, and they are fantastic!
