Hi Friends,
I am over 50 and I have been on a big denim upgrade kick since February. (Also, you’re welcome for the throwback music mash-up - sound on).
I’ve been trying on and wearing several @motherdenim styles ($$$) and have now compiled my current favorites in one shoppable list for you.

For reference, I’m 5’6”+ , size 10 and I wear a size 30 in Mother.

Here’s some quick highlights. Check below for link info.

👖Weekender - these are best-selling flare jeans. These were my first upgrade this year and they are AWESOME. Hit at the floor (available in petite, too), flattering flare, a title but of stretch. These look great with a variety of tops because of the cut.

👖Weekender Fray - All the goodness of Weekenders, but with a beachy edge. These might be my current favorite jeans.

👖Rascal Fray Ankle - These are a straight leg that hits at ankle. I love them with a sweater or blazer. For summer, an off sleeve or fuller or flowy top would be perfect. Flats or wedges would look great - sneakers, too.

👖The Roller Mid-Rise Wide Leg (shown) - This pair is a little fitted at the top and gets fuller as it heads to the floor. These are 70s inspired which is probably what draws me to them.

👖Patch Pocket Undercover Sneak - this pair started the wide leg obsession for me. The color, the cut, the fun little patch pockets. These have a summer road trip vibe and I’ve been wearing them like crazy.

Simple outfit formulas like this one are my go-to looks for everyday style. Fabulous jeans are the anchor and then I just add a simple tee and jewelry. The right jeans can keep a simple look updated, in my opinion. Do you agree?

This is a style combo that is great for any age. ❤️
I love a little bit of red with olive green or camo. I think it gives the neutral a fresh spring life. This little Shacket is the perfect spring weight, too. Add a pop or two of red and it’s got a that spring feel. Also, it’s got a modern, updated feel. As I get older, it can be tempting to stick with the same color playbook I’ve been using for so many years. This combo is the slightest bit edgy and youthful while remaining grown up in all the right ways. The on-trend cut of the jeans keeps it up to date, too.

This is an easy one for any age.
Here are a few ideas:

• An olive green dress with simple red sandals.
• Olive green pants with a white button down and simple red scarf around the neck - bonus points for red shoes.
• Olive green dress or pants with a red scarf tied around your bag.
• Olive green clothing item with red sneakers.

Love a great “outfit formula”. Shacket + button up + jeans is a repeat one for me. This little Shacket is the perfect spring weight - and it’s even got pockets! I know, right?!
