You ever go shopping on a day you just don’t feel like yourself? That was me today at the Mall of Millenia. I walked in bloated, tired, and picking apart every inch of myself in the dressing room mirror. I left so many things on the rack because I couldn’t see past the discomfort I was feeling in the moment.

But as I was leaving, I realized something every woman needs to hear—especially in midlife: our bodies are always changing. Some days you feel amazing, and others you just… don’t. And that’s okay. It’s temporary.

That “blah” feeling? It passed. My body went back to feeling normal a few hours later. But I almost let that temporary feeling steal the joy of shopping and discovery.

So here’s your reminder: don’t let a bloated day convince you that you’re not beautiful, worthy, or stylish. You are still YOU—no matter how you feel for a few hours or a few days.
