Today is a “get things done” kinda day, so it calls for easy and comfy… t-shirt and jean shorts and sneakers. The shirt is from Target (medium) and shorts are Walmart sized up one to an 8 for a roomier fit). I love the length on these. Definitely not Daisy Dukes 👊🏻 Sneakers are true to size.

This week I’m participating in a super fun color challenge with House of Color. As a Spring, I will have a different challenge each day to find new ways to wear colors in my season that I already own. My two fave colors are green and pink, so this fits the bill.

Tonight’s dinner attire was listed as “business casual” which is always a toss up as to what to wear. In my opinion, it really depends on what the business is and what the venue is for the event. In tonight’s case, it’s a more casual group in the lumber industry and we’re at the beach, so this cross backed poplin maxi dress from Target was a good bet. I paired it with on-trend yet comfortable clear buckle platform sandals, a lightweight turquoise necklace and gold bracelet from Amazon and, of course, my beloved Jennifer Ponson Designs bracelet.
