This week I’m participating in a super fun color challenge with House of Color. As a Spring, I will have a different challenge each day to find new ways to wear colors in my season that I already own. My two fave colors are green and pink, so this fits the bill.

Well, the brunch didn’t happen, but I did get compliments on my outfit on the way down to the lobby. I’ll take that as a win.

Had such a fun night getting all dressed up with Eric. I have never had many people compliment me on what I was wearing! And to think I was a lie nervous about looking too extra. Moral of the story… wear the extra dress! I’m in a medium in the blue, but it’s not available in that color any longer.

Today’s OOTD is casual, yet cute, for my travel day today! I am wearing the Tommy Bahama Orchid dress that I found at Belk from my order I showed y’all the other day. I sized up in this dress to a Large in order to have some extra length and room for a more loose fit. The clear platform sandals are from Chinese Laundry.

Tonight’s dinner attire was listed as “business casual” which is always a toss up as to what to wear. In my opinion, it really depends on what the business is and what the venue is for the event. In tonight’s case, it’s a more casual group in the lumber industry and we’re at the beach, so this cross backed poplin maxi dress from Target was a good bet. Today’s OOTD is one of my favorites from Tuckernuck. It’s the size-inclusive Callahan in chambray. I also have it in red and black, but in comes in a total of 12 different colors. This one is more of a cotton dress than the other two I have that are crepe. It is available in sizes XXS-3X I’m in a large because I’ve had this one for several years and this used to be my size. But the beauty of this dress is that you can wear it no matter if you gain or lose weight. It still works. I love the pockets and the flare at the bottom.
