My favorite ways to organize!

I love storing board games in the same size container. That way they all stack neatly in a closet and you don’t have the issue of them falling over! Plus board game boxes are made of cardboard so they are always falling apart especially if you have kids! I love that these containers are durable and keep everything together. We use small silicone bags for the small pieces. If you’re looking to update your board game collection, Amazon has so many boardgames for $10 or $15 that are the classics!

Our hack for keeping our home organized is that everything has a spot, and if the bins are overflowing or if something doesn’t have a designated spot, then it is either packed away or donated! This helps so much to reduce clutter, and to keep things neatly organized.

It also helps for Laila to be able to help clean because she knows exactly where to put things back! These are the toys that we decided to have out for this next toy rotation! 🫶🏼

I have finally found the best solution for toy storage! I’m not even joking, since I have had kids (so for the last couple of years) I have been on an endless search to try to find pretty yet practical toy storage.

I felt like there was no good solution I could find!

But I finally found the perfect combination for both toys that need to be displayed and toys that need to be stowed away.

I bought two of these window seats and left the top as a tabletop rather than a cushion. That way I could display some toys on top and some in bins.

These bins are extra large which means they actually fit their toys. In the past, we’ve always gotten baskets that were too small, which just led to toys spilling over and essentially increasing clutter.

The best part is, you can always add the cushions back on for extra seating when you’re entertaining people. Or when they grow older and they’d rather use it as a reading nook.
